To the Horizon and Beyond
Edited by Jerome Martin

The United Church of Canada sent student ministers to the United Church in the village of Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan, from 1929 to 1975. Most of these students came from central Canada or the Maritimes. Their summers in Golden Prairie introduced them to rural western Canada and its people.

In this book the former student ministers describe their experiences in Golden Prairie. They tell of dust storms, their first church services and funerals, and how those summers had lasting effects on their lives.
